Ezra Maas in The Times & Sunday Times
“The result is an astonishing maze of illusion and allusion. The ultimate postmodern noir novel? It’s left for the reader to decide. An ambitious, challenging and beautifully designed book.”
The Unauthorised Biography of Ezra Maas special edition has been reviewed by The Times & Sunday Times newspaper, which named the novel among its best new releases for May 2022. On Pg.19 of this weekend’s 'Saturday Review' supplement, you’ll find an excellent and highly quotable review of the book by Mark Sanderson. Although the online version of the review is behind The Times’ paywall for subscribers, I’ve posted a couple of pictures of the physical version below. With thanks Mark for the review and to The Times for selecting the book as one of the top five releases for May.
“Maas is variously described as a tortured genius, shaman, iconoclast, cult leader, and bastard. His followers don’t want the book to be written and are prepared to do anything to stop James.”
